Here you see a GM fuel cell prototype going through it’s paces. It’s easy to get distracted by all of the amazing advances they’ve made in technology and ergonomics, but the fuel cell system hiding in the chassis underneath all the spacecraft-like features is the real star of the show. Seawater provides the hydrogen fuel and the exhaust is ordinary water.
